What car rack is recommended to use with Magnum Bikes?Updated 2 years ago

Our e-bikes are made to fit most standard car racks. E-bikes are heavier than regular pedal bikes, so we recommend a rack that is rated to hold at least 60lbs for a single e-bike — more if you have more than one bike. 

When transporting your e-bike on a car rack, we recommend taking your battery out. This reduces the chance of battery loss during transit; it also takes 7-10 lbs. of weight off the bike. 

When looking for specific bike racks for your car, we recommend a tray style. Kuat brand car racks work well with Magnum Bikes.
